Our Work: Parks, Greenways & Open Space

Dodson Associates has over twenty years of experience in the planning, design as well as in the operation and maintenance of parks and preserves. Dodson Associates' park work includes restoration plans for the summit of Mount Greylock, Massachusetts' highest peak, as well as new and renovated community parks and recreation facilities. The firm's work in open space planning, landscape preservation and greenway development has led to the creation of numerous protected landscapes. As a founder and director of the Franklin Land Trust, Harry Dodson has played a central role in the protection of almost 41,000 acres of preserved farm and forest land in western Massachusetts.
